The New Jaguar XJ Reveal - LIVE on Cars UK
During the evening – as soon as the embargo is lifted – we will be bringing you comprehensive details and images on what exactly the new Jaguar XJ has to offer. We’ve been teased to death by Jaguar with snippets on everything from the new XJ Sound System to a shot of a new Jaguar headrest as the new XJ interior tease, but finally we will get to see the new XJ in all its glory. Perhaps Volvo’s Coupe Concept of the new XC90 wasn’t a great move, as it raised expectations that the new 2015 XC90 would be a properly stylish SUV. In fact, it’s a new car that looks more like an evolution of the 2002 XC90 than a cutting-edge new model. But that’s probably being a bit churlish as the new XC90 certainly offers lots of new tech, new engines and a raft of technology that makes the new XC90 very cutting-edge.
The Hyundai ix25 (pictured) debuts in Beijing
There’s been talk of a Hyundai ix25 for a couple of years now as the compact SUV market continues to grow and Hyundai’s smallest SUV offering remains the ix35. Now, Hyundai are getting set to remedy that gap in their range with the arrival of the Hyundai ix25 – as a concept – at the Beijing Motor Show, and looking much as you would expect – an ix35 with a few tweaks after a boil wash. At 4270mm long, the ix25 is about the same length as the new Mercedes A Class, but narrower and taller, and comes fitted with a 2.0 litre ‘Nu’ engine.
